A complete movie and television discovery platform with TMDB importing, user accounts, watchlists, ratings, comments, and an administrative CMS.

MovDB is a commercial movie and television database script designed for launching a polished, IMDb-style discovery website with both a public catalog and a full administrative system.
The public experience organizes movies, television series, popular releases, top-rated content, and celebrities into responsive browsing views. Rich title pages combine artwork, release information, runtime, ratings, descriptions, trailers, and related discovery paths, while advanced search helps users move directly to films, shows, and people.
Registered users receive a personal layer on top of the catalog. Authentication, profiles, favorites and watchlists, comments, ratings, and viewing lists turn passive browsing into a persistent account experience. Dark and light themes allow the interface to adapt without changing the underlying content structure.
The administration system is designed for operating the platform rather than manually assembling every page. Movies and television series can be imported through the TMDB API and then edited locally. Administrators can manage episodes, users, roles, comments, hero sliders, advertisements, SEO metadata, branding, colors, and general site settings from one control panel.
MovDB is distributed as customizable source code for Node.js hosting with a MySQL-compatible database. Its clean URLs, responsive presentation, configurable metadata, and content-management tools make it a practical foundation for a branded entertainment database rather than a fixed hosted service.
The project is available commercially through Codester, with the live installation demonstrating the same catalog, account, discovery, and responsive interface delivered by the product.
